REFLECTIONS:

Highlight:  My highlight for these past 2 terms was going on camp because we had so much fun, I really liked the hot pools.

Proud Of: I am most proud of how well I've worked  on my basic facts. especially my division.

Goal: My goal for next term is to change my attitude when it comes to my work so i can achieve the work that is set for me.

Hanmer Springs School Camp

This week my class and I went on camp to Hanmer Springs. We left on Monday at around 8.30am and we arrived just before 12pm. We were put into 5 different activity groups for the 3 days and the activities we had to do were tree climbing, orienteering, mountain biking, Conical Hill and a cemetery and bush sculpture activity.


On the first day my group and I went orienteering in the bush. I found it boring because we just walked around and found some of the markers. My group came second to last. Then we got to go the hot pools which was cool because we got to go down the super bowl. I went down heaps with my friends.

On the second day we went tree climbing. We had to put a harness on and learnt how to abseil down the trees. On the first 2 trees I managed to make it to the top but the third tree was too high. I enjoyed this activity. Then we went mountain biking. This was my favourite activity because I'm good at it and I do it at home.
Then we went to the cemetery and on a walk. We saw some cool wooden carvings that had been placed in the forest. After this activity we got to go back to the hot pools.

On the third day we went on another walk up Conical Hill. Then we went to the lolly shop and then it was time to go home.
I enjoyed camp and would like to go back.

Yesterday we started reading the mines of fire. We had to think about the thing we miss . I would definitely miss my ps4 and crome book

my weekend

this week my friend and I went to the beach because it was 24 c. we  went for an hour and got bowled  over by like a massive wave then as soon as i got up i got hit by another one and i got i lot of salt in my mouth
 

averages

last week my friends and I we had to do averages for maths. So we had to pick what thing you had to do for it, so we picked kicking over the post at the 22 meter line.  I got 3 out of 5 because the ball keep  hitting the side of my foot. i need to do it another four time to find my end result

country study

Last week we started to do a country study Miss Hines went on country generator and I got Italy 
I have been researching  all the things about Italy. Some of their favourite food  is pasta Carbonara and their favourite drink is gin.

Our Class Novel

A couple weeks ago we started a book called 'The Giver' it is about a boy and his family and they live in a community centre. The book is by Lois lowry and the main character Jonas  is about to go to the ceremony of 12's and they get a job and they have to do it for ever.  i and i like the book  because it has alout of descriptive words 

self repsect

Our class has made a video on self respect. As a class we decided that self-respect is name on clothes clean clothes and manners  Here is the video
